We were seated as soon as we walked in the door. Our waitresses was a very friendly and knowledge young lady. Atmosphere is AWESOME (we sat upstairs) We had 2 filet mignon (1 rare 1 well done) 1 ribeye (medium/well) and 1 special... ribeye (medium) and grilled shrimp. All of our steaks were cooked PERFECT!! Salads were served crisp and cold. EVERYTHING was DELICIOUS! We had a GREAT experience at Backdoor Steakhouse. We will be back.
Was visiting Altus for the airshow and decided to eat at Backdoor Steakhouse on 9/8/17. I would not recommend this resturant. Their prices online are between $1 to $3 dollars cheaper than what their in house menu reflects. Two other guest that entered at about the same we did both recieved and had eaten their food before we got ours. When we did get our food, it was very dissapointing. Service and quality was deffinetly not worth $51.
This place really is so overated. The last time we visited prices had went up and i ask about the dinner salad and the waiter said sure for an extra charge. Cought me off guard. Needless to say not a fan at all
The steaks and sides were very good!!!! I can't comment on the salad since we didn't get ours. The waitress was nice but seemed in such a rush that it made me nervous. She did take my grandsons steak back to cook a little more because he ordered wrong and I let him do it but it was corrected!!!! Overall it was a nice meal the waitress just needs to chill a little!!!!!
To pricy for just ok food.
We were told the food wasn't great but we relied on the reviews and were still disappointed. Took us almost an hour to get our food and the waitress kept forgetting our beer. When the food finally arrived, it was medium well, well done, and medium rare all in the same 10 oz steak even though we ordered medium rare. Everything, including the steak, was seasoned with season salt. We didn't complain to them because it wasn't worth another 30 minute wait even when 3 people that came in 15 minutes AFTER we did got their meals and were out before we even got our meal. Definitely not worth the 60 bucks we wasted on the food. If I could leave zero stars I absolutely would.
